Balaji Srinivasan joins FIO to head the capital markets vertical
We are thrilled to welcome Balaji Srinivasan to the FIO team as our new Head of Capital Markets!
Balaji joins us with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the capital markets, asset management industry, with over 15 years of experience at leading Financial & FinTech institutions such as HSBC, Murex, and Simcorp. He has developed a deep understanding of the sell side and buy side, and is passionate about leveraging technology to transform and enhance financial services industry, especially in the capital markets space. I'm confident that Balaji will be a valuable asset to our team, and we are excited to see what he can accomplish in his new role.
Here are some of Balaji's accomplishments:
- Balaji has collaborated with leading global & regional Tier-1/2/3 banks, corporates & product factory to deliver modern, scalable Front-to-Back (F2B) & regulatory solutions while at Murex. He also built and led presales practice for specific functions, contributing to strong growth in pipeline & ARR.
- Developed optimal & be-spoke target operating models for various actors in the buy-side industry - asset managers, asset owners & asset servicers, as SME and specialist at SimCorp, with focus on Middle & Back Office functions.
- Led pivotal initiatives as Business Analyst with HSBC in the Trade Finance realm for HSBC EU region. His contributions include the introduction of new offerings on HSBCnet and implementation of streamlined business processes, resulting in 30% increase in services offered to customers in Germany, Armenia & UK.
